David Coale Speaks to KTVT CBS 11 about Ezekiel Elliott’s Suspension

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott lost his chance to avoid the NFL’s six-game suspension after the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York denied his motion for an emergency injunction, which means Elliott’s suspension is back on. His lawyers argued to the court that missing the six games will have irreparable harm. The firm’s David Coale tells CBS 11 the decision is consistent with past rulings. He explains why the court wasn’t impressed with Elliott’s argument. “I wasn’t surprised to see the Second Circuit issue a ruling that is consistent with enforcing arbitration – that court in New York City – they do a lot of arbitration, they honor and enforce those awards a lot.”
